Coronavirus kills mainly old people and those with health problem as their immune system is weak. Majority of India's population is young with more than half of the population under 25 years of age and more than 65% under 35 years of age. Average age of Indian is 29 years old. India's dependency ratio is only 0.4 meaning majority of the population is in the working force. So the coronavirus will not be a serious problem in India. On the contrary, majority of the death in Italy is concentrated in an area where the aging population is high, that explains the high number of death in Italy.
