Not sure exactly what 'connected' means but they don't appear to be the same IMO. Logos are similar but different colors.

Teladoc.com has a link showing their B.O.D. and leadership. They are out of Harrison, NY and their CEO is Jason Gorevic.
They are similar to Dr. On Demand, DrSays.com, or HeyDoctor.com. I've used Dr on Demand... have had the app on my phone for a few years. They accept Medicaid, standard insurance, or they take a flat payment typically cheaper than going to an urgent care.
