It is interesting. I guess Russia can be explained because it does not have that many Chinese visitors. The Italy breakout occurred in the ski regions which are popular ski resorts for Europeans.

Africa now has a heavy Chinese influence, especially in construction. Even though there are cases it doesn't appear to have the same breakout trajectory as Iran and Europe. Of course, India and Africa might not be fully reporting but the density of the population would lead one to think that the virus would be an epidemic in those countries and it does not appear to be, Likewise Mexico and South America have very few reported cases. South America gets heavy European visitation.
