But mortality in flu is about 0.1 % ,
Mortality with COVID-19 now is about 2-3 % but final numbers we will know after epidemic will finish.
We do have vaccination and treatment for Flu and not for COVID-19.
Flu is contagious just before symptoms , becoming more within few days.
With flu people start to feel better second week , with COVID-19 second week start the most complications.
Rarely patient with flu need to be on respirators developing very severe permanent lung damage , not uncommon with COVID-19.
COVID-19 is contagious up to 2 wks before symptoms, mostly about 5 days before , and is the most contagious at the beginning...
