Based on what we know so far, our drug would have a really good shot at inhibiting viral entry and potentially nullifying its symptoms. It would not prevent you from contacting it and would have no effect on viral load. However it could potentially reduce or even eliminate symptoms altogether. Essentially, it could make the virus impotent...in theory.
