Day One.
Last night our friends returned from Italy by direct flight Rome--RDU (NC). On the arrival they passed passport and customs control, told 'Have a nice day!" and went home. No questions asked, no screening whatsoever! A full planeload of Americans just took off their protective masks they wore on the plane and went home.
