I totally get what you're saying and why, the problem is that this IS a VERY political situation, because the federal government and the FDA are both involved and that means it is political.
No, of course I don't want people making death threats to Misiu for her political beliefs (Psea can keep thumbs downing us all, that way we know he hasn't succumbed to COVID-19 yet), but one cannot really have that intelligent and complete of a conversation about COVID-19 and CYDY without at least entertaining the political aspect. It'd be like trying to have a baseball game without umpires...some ruling body that is in charge of the situation and makes MONUMENTAL decisions affecting EVERYONE on the field, for better or worse.
