HHI - Now , when I am thinking I never saw in the hospital anyone died due to flu ,

But last year , my best friend is practicing internist in Central NJ , She had a patients in 20s with mild flu , she gave her all the medicine and after a week patient called that she is fine..

3 or 4 weeks later she went dancing , and after few hrs she died..

Autopsy show that flu affected her heart muscle.

I believe this is the most common reason for mortality with flue ...( but all together not that common )

This and secondary pneumonia..

But mortality is 0.5 % all together..
