I believe that "B" has been getting promotions from research scientists to check out "B".That's why I think it is getting front row attention.
Also from the 2/18/2020 PR:
"Brilacidin and other defensin mimetics similar in structure to Brilacidin have
been tested against enveloped viruses with moderate activity noted from the outset.
To date, Brilacidin has not been tested specifically against Coronavirus
