Toodles, there may be little anyone can say here to bring the consolation you may be seeking. Certainly not everyone goes through what you have gone through. I think Norwegian Rooster was on to something when he suggested using this as an opportunity to help others. A very close friend died last year in a terrible car accident. She was an only child. Everything about the situation was awful. Her parents are having a very difficult time. I remember talking with the mother. She told me at the bereavement group there were people there who lost parents, siblings, etc, but she was the only one who had lost a child. I tried to suggest that she can help others who have suffered loss... I’m not sure that is what she wanted to hear but I did the best I could. After my grandfather died my mother started volunteering at hospice. It is her way of grieving.

Regardless, the Good Lord will direct you to where you need to be. Have faith dude, and let’s hope UNVC reaches its full potential.
