You have to give Rory credit for not canceling the entire trip in the wake of Coronavirus. I think he is an excellent presenter and knows how to speak to his audience. His SHAC videos were very down to earth, straightforward, and informative. I know he talks differently when he gives presentations to a group of big investors. In a lot of places in Asia direct eye contact is not considered good, unlike here. However most likely they were looking at a demo on their cellphones as others pointed out. I am "definitely certain" they enjoyed any soup that was served.
Red: "Soupricorn One" was too funny, I have seen the movie you are referencing several times over the years. OJ Simpson was still an actor and was one of the 3 astronauts. Of course that was way before his more infamous times. Enjoyed getting out the popcorn last night for the "iHang Verb comedy movie"!
Regarding Coronavirus, the stock market as well as all my 401K's, are way down, Verb is holding its own. My Verb account as of 2/29 shows YTD GAIN of 5.87%. Meanwhile for same time period S&P has LOSS of 8.27%! Can't complain about that at all! Unfortunately my 401K's have been getting money for years so at the moment dwarf the amount of money I have in Verb. However, I expect that situation to reverse - it will be reversed when Verb hits $15/share roughly.
Finally, as of 2/29, 3 month return for my account with Verb shares and warrants: +80.40%. S&P500 for same period, -5.50%!
