Hi ISW ,- It is true , we think , that children develop zoonotic coronavius less often...
but to what I know not human coronavirus...
But maybe , because symptoms are less severe , it is also under-diagnosed
,
They may have only symptoms of little cold , but are important of spreading the disease...
This is why schools are often closing in this situation...
During MERS I believe about 3.5% of patients were children...
Now I just heard , so far about 1 %...
But again very often they under-diagnosed , not all parents will see a doctor when child has little cold , and then when they do , doctors don't even have test to check...
They young and healthy , and disease look often as little cold..
maybe your friend is right with his theory , but I don't know enough to comment ....
All together , I hope this COVID-19 will die this summer..
