I know several long investors who put in GTC sell orders at Much Much higher prices as soon as they buy a bunch.
One time I forgot to do this for an hour or so, but as soon as I did, the ask got raised. The share offer on the ask was exactly what I had purchased.
The rascals and their algos will get a real workout when the big money arrives. Last Monday's action will look tame by comparison.
