Some drug company CEO was on CNBS, excuse me CNBC today, saying that the government needed to give cash to smaller companies so they could accelerate development and approval of drugs.

So yeah, if they actually did that, indeed that's something other than a deal that soft-bashing claims is the "only" way forward for the company.

What if the government lab likes what they see, and throws money at it?
Although technically, you can call anything that involves an influx of cash a "deal," so let's avoid the food fight and agree that outside cash coming in would be good.
