Misiu, I do respect being cautious, and we still do not know fully the morbidity and mortality of the disease. You are right. We need to use all possible precautions and be vigilant.
One thing interesting here, though, is we have a large contained prospective cohort from the Diamond Princess. They are likely older patients on cruise ships, but someone should find out the demographics and health history of all these patients. Most of them likely have access to first world healthcare. 705 documented infections. Total death rate to date, 6,<1%. I believe that most have recovered or were asymptomatic. If that data maintains and the demographics match the cruise population average, then, hopefully, that will bode well for us.
