Leronlimab does not act exactly like CCR5 delta 32 deletion. In CCR5 delta 32 the immune system uses other receptors, the affinity seems boosted compared to those same receptors in non-delta 32, but still not as good as CCR5. With leronlimab doing a partial blockade and boosting the killer T- cell response the very slight negatives in regard to flu don't exist.
The one thing that is barely comparative is studies with null CCR5 mice. You have the blockade to the immune system without the true workaround you see in CCR5 delta 32.
