That is indeed true. Many NOBOs do bring nothing to the table. But some do. There is nothing wrong with either. And there is nothing wrong with being a peasant. I am a peasant in several stocks I own, many over the years. The difference as it relates to me is that I do not blame management or the BOD or anyone else when the value of my shares becomes less, if they do. And I do not take credit for being uncommonly wise when the value of my shares increases. Because I am but a peasant. I only make stay or go decisions.
And I certainly do not misrepresent my credentials on a message board in order to gain a respectable seat at the discussion table and then spend the next 3 months bashing the company and its management using penny stock trading myths and legends.
