As a subcontractor that has to sometimes chase monies owed from General contractors or business owners or wealthy customers, on occasion, I have decided to walk away and take the loss instead of enduring the conflict.
I then obviously refuse to do work for said person in the future.
The $500 , or $1500 or $3000 in the end isn't going to change my life in the long haul.
South Florida attracts all kinds.
Learning who NOT to work for is key.
I have been in business since 97'.
Occasionally that feeling starts to creep into my thoughts regarding UNVC.
"Wait a little longer, your payday is coming".
Or " what if this things fails"
Then I go back and look at the cast of business professionals involved with UNVC that have their reputations, much, much larger than mine, on the line.
I then take a deep breath and get out the door to work.
It is the first day of the rest of your life.
If you are reading this, consider yourself blessed beyond measure.
