I suspect the actual death rate is lower than the reported death rate. The published death rate is based only on reported, diagnosed cases and reported deaths. There are no doubt many more people who’ve had the corona virus but were never tested because many just experience it as a common cold and didn’t go the a clinic. That number is easily in the thousands, possibly higher.
