In the vast continuum of potential explanations, I think that Bored Lawyer's thesis is theoretically possible. I won't bog this thread down with the many links from truly reputable sources that support the possibility that Coronoa did NOT emanate from the wet market -- you can do that on your own if you are so inclined. However, I will say that the US and other countries would likely to be very slow to condemn China due to their own biological weapons programs.
