Beasley why would you want to move from a Non IRA an IRA? You would be taking an investment that has already paid some taxes into an investment that would have to pay again.
What we have been discussing is moving from an IRA to a Roth IRA thru a Roth IRA Conversion. You pay taxes now on the converted amount but then all profit in the future is 100% tax free. An hopefully NGIO would be converted with no taxes since there is no value.
