I believe 2 years is the standard for PFS for cancer trials. Here is the primary endpoint for PFS:
“Phase II: Progression free survival (PFS) defined as time in months from the date of first study treatment to the date of disease progression or death from any cause, whichever comes first. [ Time Frame: Every 6 to 9 weeks after study start, until progression or death, assessed up to 2 years after completion of treatment ]”
Don’t read into it too much.....I think this is just standard trial protocol...and IMO if these TNBC patients are all still alive and testing for 0 CTCs in 2 years CYDY will be $40+ and considered the SOC for TNBC (and likely many other cancers)!
