I agree, bwolfy. I tried to transfer GNBT from a NQ account to my Roth back in January. Received a message that stocks could not be transferred directly - I had to liquidate the stock, transfer the money and then re-buy the stock (or just make a cash contribution and buy the stock once in the Roth). I was allowed to make a transfer from my IRA to a Roth, but it did count as part of my annual allowed contribution.

Be careful on the transfer from an IRA to a Roth - it is not necessarily done at the price when you make the transfer. On mine, it was at the price when the transfer was completed, about 3 days later.
