Stebfish, in reading the link you posted, if u make over $460+ k approximately, you are in the 37% tax bracket. So if we get $1/share and we sell 500,000, we just went over the max because these sales are ordinary income. I would assume most that have been here a while will most definitely hit that amount if we see a nice pps. Therefore, those selling short term shares will pay the max rate at 37%.
