I don't disagree with your comments at all (why sell?).
I tend to think that many CYDY investors follow Twitter OTC hype stocks (with which CYDY has been lumped in recently) rather than actually knowing what they own.
But I also agree that CYDY management has had a difficult time building and maintaining credibility with shareholders, so the "don't buy it" rationale is certainly valid.
For my part, I "buy it" and don't plan to sell a share. However, given the broader shift to risk aversion and the fact that my income can vary in good times/bad times, I'm not really planning on buying any more either.
Ultimately, I think CYDY will get a coronavirus study off the ground.
If not in China, then in South Korea, which has it's own major outbreak and in which I expect CYDY's relationship with Samsung could prove extraordinarily valuable.
