They were replaying a Sirius XM show called "Medical Grand Rounds." They were talking about sepsis, and how they don't really know how to treat this catastrophic infection-induced often fatal condition (20% mortality rate) -- but that not only antibiotics, but anti-inflammatory treatments were being used to treat it. They think that steroids (anti-inflammatory) make the condition WORSE in some patients, and were saying that there was a need for a new type of anti-inflammatory drug.

I bet that one that is also an antibiotic could be very helpful.....
