So I am fairly confident that the ex div date was 2/17. I saw this from another poster on another board. Take it or leave it but I believe them:
Them: “Sold February14th. No GNBT divi Only Antigen Express! Wierd; but, true!
DISTRIBUTION SPINOFF FROMGNBT) ANTIGEN EXPRESS CONTRA (037CNT029) Symbol 037CNT029
Description: ANTIGEN EXPRESS CONTRA
Shares +22,000.000
YOU SOLD GENEREX BIOTECHNOLOGY CORP COM USD0.001 (GNBT) (Cash)
Symbol GNBT
Description GENEREX BIOTECHNOLOGY CORP COM USD0.001
Shares -55,000.000
Price 0.649
Amount $35,694.64
Fees $0.36
Settlement Date 02/19/2020”
Me: “So you sold your shares on 2/14 and got the NGIO dividend for those shares?”
Them: “Yes, I sold GNBT shares on 2/14 and have the NGIO divi in my account today.”
So that means that now the issue at stake is in that FINRA rule about time given dictating the ex-div date. That and/or the DTC distributing under the correct rule.
