Too early to have any confidence in the “death rate” calculations attributed to this virus. The denominator of that calculation could easily be off by 10x or 100x or more as we don’t know how many people are mildly infected. We have a better confidence in the numerator, ie the attributable deaths. My guess is that the death rate will asymptote closer to the same rate as in other major flu viruses. Hopefully
