Heck yeah that’s awesome about the Roth IRA. Many of you out there should explore your Roth 401k options if that’s available to you. They allow much more contributions than a traditional Roth IRA. My wife has that and we converted her old 401k into Roth IRA back in 2009 when the Gov gave two years to make up the taxes. 2010 & 2011.
That’s money you can grow forever with no tax consequences, and after 59 1/2 years of age it’s there if you need it. But you can continue to grow it tax free.
Like you, I haven’t as many shares as some here, but I have increased my holdings by 4 times since last April. 60% of all holdings now in Roth.
Kudos to you for making that leap into Roth. Keep funding as you can.
You will not regret it.
