farrell, I am not sure we will see much of a delay. As far as we know IPIX may have already recieved an offer and the clock could be running on Alfasigma to decide whether to match the offer.

I PMed the following to a poster asking me my opinion on this and I stated "IPIX won't bring an inferior offer that they wouldn't willingly accept forward to AS. IPIX can use this as a negotiating lever with BP telling them to "shoot us the best offer possible to avoid having AS match it." I see it as an advantage to IPIX from a negotiation perspective."
