My concern is the 1st Samsung payment.
Nader said that the first shipment of 500 vials will happen in a few months and that most of the payments will be made post-approval. But that means the first Samsung payment will have to be made pre-approval, so where will the money come from for that?
I'd really like to know the per-vial cost and whether there will be more shipments expected whether the approval date is pushed back or not. If Samsung just keeps shipping product before revenue is generated then that could be a problem. It hasn't sounded like the Vyera BLA milestone payment is very significant based on Nader's prior comments so the Samsung payments are another expense before revenue can be generated. We really need an overseas HIV deal or a NASH deal.
