Bravo, it is my understanding, and I believe the thinking of many others, that if you read the rules on large divs, the divs will be given to the buyer thru the due bill process for any shares exchanged thru close on Monday, 2/24, the Pay Date.
There is no T+2 with the large dividend.

BE VERY CAREFUL ABOUT BUYING TODAY. Trade date and settlement date ARE NOT the same thing. Settlement --and as i understand it - i.e.legal ownership --is 2 business days AFTER trade date. Buying today puts settlement on the ex date meaning technically you probably won't receive dividend.
