Trading Summary - February 18.
Excellent progress today - as both existing and new interest hit the ask rather than bidding after reading up on developments and prospects over the long weekend - as the clock keeps running down on letting the contract for the 2020 MAC + recent USAF developments becoming public.
Early on, the hold back attempt at .2000 was taken out - without any fills on the unrealistic bid at .1750.
Thereafter, multiple traders were outbidding each other - with up to 32K as high as .2750 without getting any significant fills - whilst those that hit the ask while they still could below .3000 had the most success.
After .2900 was taken out, .3000 was up with only 2,500 there - and very little being offered under .4000.
In the final hour, someone put up an undercut ask of 19K at .2900 - and walked 5,000 down to .2899 - hoping to get a bid fill at .2551 - but was unsuccessful.
All significant trades were reported contemporaneously in earlier posts.
Overall, 60,662 shares were bought today - the majority on the ask - all at higher levels - setting a new 2020 high of .2900 (previously .2000) - at prices as follows:
.2899 / 2900: 4,300
.2800 > .2875: 1,973
.2750 > .2799: 16,128
.2700: 5,000
.2650: 3,720
.2444 > .2550: 7,000
.2375: 5,000
.2325: 2,300
.2256: 5,000
.2200: 7,860
.2014: 750
.2000: 3,631
Very little is being offered under .7500.
The Industry Day for a potential 2020 CAS AAR MAC to replace the extant contract awarded to $TMPS (but larger, multi-company and for twice as long) was held on September 12, 2019.
The new (from Nov 2019) Government website beta.SAM.gov shows that it is still the USN's intent to award a Multi (company) Award Contract (presumed to be $TMPS + Omega as the only companies in the field available in the timescale) for AAR in DoD 2020 Q2 (which ends March 31, 2020).
Keep an eye out for developments on the future contract to be awarded up to March 31, 2020 (latest).
Companies interested in being considered for inclusion in the 2020 MAC were required to provide inputs to the USN by January 8, 2020.

The deadline for those companies interested in being considered as part of the 2020 MAC to provide information requested by the USN - and / or to comment on the Draft Request For Proposals (from the USN to interested companies for them to bid against) has now expired.
The next thing we should see is an update at the Federal government website showing the actual final version RFP.
US TRANSCOM is now in agreement with the USAF that contracted out AAR should be considered to alleviate the shortfall in availability caused by the numerous, long delays to the KC-46A tanker program and has already held an Industry Day which was attended by 12 interested companies. Some of these will be the manufacturers for new build and some may be operators of Red Air aggressor aircraft considering using buddy-buddy pods or buying ex-military tankers to expand their operation - Omega and $TMPS remain the only US companies owning military tanker fleets).
A 2nd Industry Day for the US TRANSOM contract opportunity was held on December 17, 2019.

On February 10, the USAF FY21 Plan called for the early retirement of a number of KC-135s and KC-10s - making contractorization of part of the its task even more likely.

Also watch for any developments in the UK with wholly owned subsidiary Tristar Air UK Ltd and / or work on the Tristars.
Warning ! Anyone who is seen posting nonsense on iHub on any on the thinly traded stocks I'm a shareholder in - especially when small paint downs are also seen along with undercut asks - can expect to have their user ID passed to the SEC which has now started to take action against those using the exact modus operandi I have detected and commented on for the past 2 years:
