There are a ton of BPs who will take a shot on the phase 2a B-UC trial.
That's not a question. The question is what will they pay to do it?
Did anyone think we were going to give away over 90% of B-UP for $450K and $6 million in regulatory milestones? The sales milestones combined with the royalty will total less than 10% of total revenues.
We really need LocustWalk to negotiate a decent upfront on B-OM so that we can push B-UC into a phase 2. That will allow us to do a monster partnership with a $100M+ upfront like Theravance got.
