I got this culture(Hope I spelled culture right) from another board, but yes there are a lot of unsung hero's in the world.
I was sad to read of the passing of Lyle Mays this week. Known for his long collaboration with Pat Metheny and a fixture in the Pat Metheny Group he was one of those unsung jazzmen always banging away shrouded behind that piano. I had seen them so many times over the years, and they were always a great evening out. R.I.P. Lyle Mays.
