Right now in China about 1,700 healthcare worker with COVID-19 , people who used protection , and didn't expect to get sick, at list not in that big number...look that this virus is much more contagious than SARS..
As for 2% mortality most probably this is not accurate , we will see when all is over , During SARS it was estimated at about 3 % ,
After everything finished , depending who's statistic but mortality was 10-15 % , and people over 60 about 50 % ..
Those numbers are usually not accurate during epidemic , but becoming clear after all is finish.
One patient in USA was in a very serious condition , with consultation with CDC , doctors gave to this patient one of anti-retroviral therapy , I don't know which one , and patient responded very fast.
So at least we have some help looks like..
