It is hard for me even with my background to wrap my head around the genetics of ccr5. After all of we subscribe to neo Darwinian theory at face (which I do not)the probability of this genes existence is not very likely and yet it does. So for non-science people to belive this they are going to need to see it and be told about it by sources they believe provide them truths that are too complex for them to understand by themselves. But the source matters more then the facts themselves. This too was hard for me to accept by necessary to learn in order to most effectively and efficiently heal others which was the oath I swore to uphold the day input on my first white coat.
