They wouldn't have the results all analyzed and then announce that they are waiting to release them. They'd just release them.

These complex technologies take time, and I am glad that they are not rushing to save a couple of days. I don't remember now which small biotech it was, but one of them had good clinical trial results, and rushed to release the data without taking the time to present the results in a format that people could understand. The scientists at the company understood that the results were good, but the raw data was easily misinterpreted as NOT good, and the company was torpedoed. It never recovered from that terrible decision and ended up being sold for almost nothing, despite its good results.
