For God's sake man...he is the CEO! If his words are not meant to be taken as the gospel, then who CAN we believe? Perhaps, if he thought about it, he would not get so excited and give the kind of seemingly reachable timelines that he does in the manner that he does.

He could say "It is our hope, barring unforeseen circumstances, to file the BLA by the end of January. That being said, I must remind our loyal shareholders that the FDA always has the right to ask for additional information which may cause the date to change." See? That is a much better way of letting people know a timeline while leaving the chance for it to change very open and possible.
