I agree that the disclaimer makes these performance shares much more bearable IF they enforce the BTD and 'certain other requirements' as outlined. I don't necessarily buy the controlling majority thought as these 11,650,000 shares are only 1.66% of the authorized shares.
However, as others have noted these bonuses are frothy or much higher than I or we should expect. If nothing else, award and announce in conjunction with BTD approval and when the 'certain other requirements' were accomplished. At that point though the share price would likely be higher and the bonus be less shares.....hence IMO the reason they continually award now and 'prove' later.
I haven't researched to see what other companies have awarded their management and BOD for BTD, but say CYDY shares go to $10 on the announcement.......that is a $60M bonus to NP (less than $17/share equals a $100M bonus). If announced at the same time at BTD was approved, he may have received 1.5-3M shares vs 6M (25-50%)?
In saying this, I do expect many positive things in the relatively near future, but wish management and BOD would consider optics of these announcements. I trust and support management and BOD and only really complain about these performance bonuses and managing timeline expectations.
