India bets big on quantum technology
Latest budget includes more than a billion dollars in funding for quantum computing, communications and cryptography.

Quantum Materials Corp licensed Amtronics India to market quantum dots in India. Amtronics India formed a JV with Assam's AMTRON who are building a new Electronics Manufacturing Center as part of their Billion dollar New Tech City in Gutahawi. The JV (named Qamronics) has purchased 2 automated quantum dots production machines which can make many different types of nanocrystals. India's Make in India policy means that other companies imported QD will be tariffed. The announced product fields for Qamronics are QDSC, and QDLED for SSL and other uses.
