I'm thinking NGIO may open at $5, not $3 as has been speculated. The reasons are that 1) Joe off-handedly mentioned $5 several times and 2) why open below $5 when big investors can't or won't invest in anything cheaper than that. 3) if they open at $3, and don't have big investors, it may be a slippery slope back down below $2., and Joe knows this.
$600k valuation, $5 share, 120k shares.
What got me thinking this is when I bought more shares at Fidelity yesterday, I couldn't place it online without their first making me call in so the agent could read me a dire warning about investing in penny stocks. He said at Fidelity they consider anything below $5 a penny stock. He said the SEC considers anything below $3 a penny stock.
