Amazing isn't it! I don't recall if volunteers are allowed to feed the pups but do know BC won't let any of the volunteers anywhere close to these animals until after working at the place for at least 1 year. If you get a chance or visit again you also know it isn't like visiting a zoo. BC only allows certain hours and days to visit "mainly" groups and timing stringency revolving totally around the animals. You would not believe the contributions of some of the people including many stars/actors.
