Yes, that's what happens. People are led to believe that a rise in share price is imminent and then they buy before share price goes up. The old buy low scenario.
There are many ways to receive signals about positive developments but I'm not sure we're getting them. Yes, we hear about deals, but revenue is often a long way off from a deal closing.
Not to be knocking anything or anybody, but I've noticed there hasn't been any insider buying in quite a long time. I believe our associate, Mr Chan, bought 6M shares in his own company, DSS, not too long ago. That's one way management relays confidence to investors. Also, no recent press releases.
It would be nice if management publicly recognized investors discomfort and addressed it in one way or another.
