My speculation:
From the January 27 Shareholder Update: "January '20 letter of intent signed for $2M equity investment and Joint Venture to form Quantum Materials Vertical Technologies, LLC."
An entrepreneur will pay QMC $2 million "JV fee" in a joint venture forming a JV company named "Quantum Materials Vertical Technologies" in which the entrepreneur will be the operator responsible for all the operating expenses while QMC's share of contribution will be its IP in automatic continuous flow quantum dot production technology, the disruptive filmless Display technology with over 95% Rec 2020 color gamut coverage, the roll to roll quantum dot solar film production technology and perhaps also the Solid State quantum dot LED Lighting technology. The JV partners will share the profits from the sales of the quantum dot application products.
Looking further ahead into the future, the partners will merge resulting in Quantum Materials Corp being a prominent global quantum dot producer with increasing number of quantum dot application products. Through the operation of QMC, investors may be witnessing the progress of Intel Corp in its infancy. QMC has the potential to emulate not only Universal Display Crop, but Intel Corp and will has a future market cap of over $200 billion.
