Hmmm, maybe not (dosage is good enough) - the B-UP had Brilacidin immersed (held) in water during the enema period and this took away some potency.
Wondering if these Phase 1 patients were instructed to take the B pill on an empty stomach after completing so many hours of fasting.
It may well be that the delayed pill erosion caused a distribution that was uniform in that the erosion was completed in even distribution over a significant surface area over a significant amount of time.
Do we know yet how the pill was designed -- were there 2 - 3 embedded erosion layers and where and when was the drug content released. Drug content could have swept over the same target area twice in a slow manner without the water applied in the B-UP trial.
