From a quick review, in terms of cancers being targeted (mTNBC and Prostate, among others) and possible FDA filings, Nantkwest l (NK) has some drugs in their pipeline that are just ahead of Leronlimab and are showing similar results. They’ve received BTD for bladder cancer and plan to file for BTD for pancreatic and mTNBC. The big advantage they have is a couple of hundred patients through their various cancer trials. Their progress COULD indicate how quickly leronlimab gets to the market based off of X patients. Their drugs are still in phase 2 for multiple cancers, with many patients, for many months (some patients on drug for 12+ months) but nothing approved yet.
Could this mean that the FDA might want more and longer data on the treatment of mTNBC with leronlimab? 12 months+ to show survival rate? NK has 9 patients in their mTNBC phase 1B trial and haven’t applied for accelerated approval, which some have said CYDY will do this summer. Maybe the fact that leronlimab has successfully treated over 850 patients and has a phase 1B/2 trail for mTNBC will make a difference?
I’m interested to hear everyone’s thoughts.
Good overview of their progress from that investors conference NP was at:
