FWIW, and IMO only....for people who have never been to the plant, never watched the machine run, the amount of work to get this place operational is huge. To think that they are going to just go in there fix the machine and start testing feedstock is foolish. If it were that easy, Heddle would have done it. Fixing the machine is the easy part, getting through the usual TIME CONSUMING regulatory process with the DEC, hiring back competent labor, to replace those who left in 2013, is NOT as simple as it sounds. There were a few serious engineers at Iroquois. Couple that with the logistics of getting the feedstock and HTF, AND TRUST ME they are not running plastic without a lot of HTF, is time consuming. This whole endeavor, if even attempted, will take at a minimum 6 months. My guess is more like a year.

That’s coming from someone who has been at the plant multiple times. I’m sure there are other living around the country that know much more than me...but if you haven’t actually been there and seen the operation....you are highly speculating.
