Cashclan... a new leader must first happen in Iran, then separation of church and state so numbnuts no longer has any say. The new leader will be hardcore as it must be some type of dictator'ish to straighten out all their people with force. After a period when church and state has been in effect and reasonable understanding and acceptance is seen formation of free government, elected government and elected leader but in the beginning I don't see any free elections taking hold. Now after whoever takes over in the beginning they will probably need to be forced out as they probably won't want to leave at this point of formation of a real free government.

No matter how you look at it the first leader must be ruthless and able or be forced out of office as control over the entire state is finally so. There is a lot to this puzzle as the pieces are put together.

Not a perfect suggestion but considering everything involved see no other way no easy way and much life will be lost in the transition.
