As the finance guy, I have to say that you are both using APR incorrectly, but that's beside the point of the convo. I think the point that's being made is if the stock grows 200% per quarter, that the compound growth is staggering. But I think the counterpoint is that this isn't really a meaningful measurement because this isn't a compounding asset.
